Overview
ShieldTap is an open-source Android app (free Basic mode, optional Plus in-app purchase) that prevents unintended screen touches during phone calls. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Data Collection
ShieldTap does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
The app uses an internet connection only through Google Play Billing to process and verify the optional Plus in-app purchase. Purchase processing is handled by Google Play under Google's privacy policy; ShieldTap itself does not send any data to its own or third-party servers.
Permissions
- Accessibility Service: Used solely to display a touch-blocking overlay on the screen during calls and Touch Lock. The app does not read, collect, or process any screen content, text, or user interactions.
- Phone State (Plus mode only): Used solely to detect when a call starts and ends for automatic overlay activation. The app does not access phone numbers, call logs, or call content.
- Battery Optimization Exemption: Requested to prevent the device manufacturer from force-stopping the background service.
Third-Party Services
ShieldTap does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Data Storage
The app stores only the user's mode preference (Basic or Plus) locally on the device using Android SharedPreferences. This data is never transmitted.
Children's Privacy
ShieldTap does not collect any data from any user, including children under 13.

데이터 수집
ShieldTap은 어떠한 개인정보도 수집, 저장, 전송하지 않습니다.
인터넷 연결은 선택 사항인 플러스 인앱 구매를 처리·확인하기 위해 Google Play 결제를 통해서만 사용됩니다. 결제 처리는 Google의 개인정보처리방침에 따라 Google Play가 담당하며, ShieldTap은 자체 서버나 제3자 서버로 어떠한 데이터도 전송하지 않습니다.
권한
- 접근성 서비스: 통화 중 및 터치 잠금 시 터치 차단 오버레이를 화면에 표시하기 위해서만 사용됩니다. 화면 내용, 텍스트, 사용자 상호작용을 읽거나 수집하지 않습니다.
- 통화 감지 (플러스 모드 전용): 통화 시작과 종료를 감지하여 자동으로 오버레이를 활성화하기 위해서만 사용됩니다. 전화번호, 통화 기록, 통화 내용에 접근하지 않습니다.
- 배터리 최적화 예외: 제조사(삼성 등)가 백그라운드 서비스를 강제 종료하는 것을 방지하기 위해 요청합니다.
제3자 서비스
ShieldTap은 분석, 광고, 추적 등 어떠한 제3자 서비스도 사용하지 않습니다.
데이터 저장
사용자의 모드 설정(기본/플러스)만 기기 내부에 저장합니다. 이 데이터는 외부로 전송되지 않습니다.
아동 개인정보
ShieldTap은 13세 미만 아동을 포함한 모든 사용자로부터 데이터를 수집하지 않습니다.
